Suzanne Spross, PhD, CAC

Dr. Spross has over 30 years of clinical experience in the mental health field, working in a variety of treatment settings with adolescent, adult and geriatric populations. This included a period of private practice in New York City and consulting positions with various agencies. She was a member of the NYS Division on Addictions Executive Committee from 1994 to 2002 and participated on continuing education seminars organized by that group.

She is a PhD psychologist and received her Masters Degree in counselor education from Fordham University in 1982, entering the addiction treatment field at that time. By 1994 she had attained her Certified Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor credential. In 1998, Dr. Spross became a certified GAIN Trainer, which focuses on the process of diagnostic assessment. In 1999 she achieved her doctorate in counseling psychology from NYU.

Dr. Spross has a psychology license in Florida and New York and certification for addiction counseling. She provides clinical guidance and direction in various case matters.
