Dr. Bensimhon has over 10 years of clinical experience in the mental health field, working in a variety of treatment settings specializing in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

Her experience includes a period of private practice in New York City, as well as practicing psychiatry at the Yeshiva University Counseling Center. She is also a clinical instructor at the NYU School of Medicine, Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and has in the past mentored psychiatry residents at Beth Israel.

Dr. Bensimhon is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, the American Association of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, the Medical Society of the State of NY, and the American Medical Association.
