Eric M. Huebscher is the President and CEO of Huebscher & Co.
He is a Certified Professional Compliance Officer (CPCO) with over 30 years of management experience in with a specialized emphasis on healthcare operations, finance and regulatory compliance and oversight.


Mr. Huebscher has held senior level positions in healthcare fiance as both an assistant controller for a million member health plan as well as Chief Financial Officer of a 500+ physician medical group. He co-founded a physician practice management company with an emphasis in long term care and home doctor programs. Over the past 8+ years he has devoted substantially all of his time to healthcare business engagements including, providing skilled advisory services to secured lenders, physician practice management, compliance, billing and practice operations as well as numerous restructuring engagements.

Over his career, Mr. Huebscher has managed numerous complex and challenging business issues that have involved a wide range of management and financial issues as well as management structure and governance matters. He has in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the healthcare business spectrum, including payor and provider operations, acute care hospital operations and the long-term care industry. In this regard, he has analyzed all areas of the healthcare arena and provides guidance in these areas.

Mr. Huebscher served as lead financial advisor to the Committee of Unsecured Creditors in the North General Hospital Bankruptcy and has served as Patient Care Ombudsman in the Lower Bucks Hospital, Daytop Village, Interfaith Medical Center, Westgate Nursing Home, Corehealth, Kidspeace, Nightingale Home Healthcare, Reddi Muttana, MD and Real Care Home Health Care bankruptcies. In addition, Mr. Huebscher has worked closely with various lenders in the safekeeping and disposition of the lenders collateral as well as successfully restructuring large scale businesses. His activities have included on-site monitoring of business operations and activities, working with creditors counsel and expert testimony in Federal and State Courts and other related activities. Additionally, he has been appointed as Receiver in Federal Court – Southern District, State Court – Fairfax and Stafford County Virginia and Howard County Maryland.

Mr. Huebscher earned a bachelor's degree from State University of New York at Brockport and an MBA in Finance from Adelphi University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Fraud Examiner. He is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, AAPC and Healthcare Compliance Association. He is a 2nd Lt. in the USAF Auxiliary - Civil Air Patrol - and is an instrument rated pilot and rescue scuba diver.

Mr. Huebscher holds dual American and Austrian citizenships and is able to work in the European Union. He has traveled extensively through Europe, Asia and the Americas.
