Max Markidan

Mr. Markidan has advised executives in a wide range of industries and organizations, ranging from startups to industry-leading global corporations. His prior experience in healthcare includes work with payors, hospitals, and home health agencies and other provider groups. Mr. Markidan has an extensive background in capital raise transactions, asset sales, strategic cost-reduction, and turnaround initiatives. Mr. Markidan has also guided clients on issues of financial valuation, growth strategy, M&A due-diligence and integration.

Previously, Mr. Markidan advised corporations, lenders, and equity holders at a nationally recognized turnaround and restructuring firm. He has also worked with institutional investors, including Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. (KKR) and Bear Stearns, to reduce expense run-rates in their portfolio companies and acquisition targets.

Also, Mr. Markidan worked in the Middle Markets and Financial Services practice of BearingPoint, Inc. (formerly the consultancy arm of KPMG), where he advised corporations such as Hilton, Verizon, The Carlyle Group, Blue Cross/Blue Shield of New Jersey, U.S. Department of Commerce and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Mr. Markidan began his career as an Associate at Milestone Equity Partners, a private equity firm. In this role, he was responsible for due-diligence, market research, and financial modeling. In addition, Mr. Markidan supported the firm’s portfolio companies by working with their management teams to develop go-to-market plans, devise financial and operational targets, and prepare and guide the firms through additional capital raises.

Mr. Markidan is a graduate of the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland.
